paper - Literature Analysis for Vitamin
Use in Parenteral Nutrition Prescription in 2006-2015 in China, written by
the chief pharmacist Chen Lianzhen from Cancer Hospital Chinese Academy of
Medical Sciences, was published in China
Pharmacy 28 (17), 2017, with Professor Yu Jianchun from Basic Surgery
Department of Peking Union Medical College Hospital as the corresponding
author. On October 14, 2017, this paper was rated as the Outstanding Paper in
Pharmacy Administration in China Pharmacy,
in "Qilu Cup 2017".
The study,
involved in a total of 34 articles published in 2006 - 2015 and a total of
158,874 prescriptions, gave a full and informative presentation of the vitamin
preparation use in parenteral nutrition prescriptions in China over the past 10
years, providing a scientific reference for the reasonable vitamin preparation
use in parenteral nutrition in China. The article mentioned, "Clinical
studies have shown that it is more reasonable to fully add 12 or 13 kinds of
essential vitamins into the parenteral nutrition program, while single vitamin
supplement, or simply fat-soluble or water-soluble vitamin supplement cannot
meet the clinical needs of the patients."
The paper also emphasized,
"the proportion of vitamin used and specified in the parenteral nutrition
prescriptions in our country is lower, and the concept of adding 12 or 13
vitamins that meet the recommendations into the parenteral nutrition
prescription should be strengthened."
